Dolphin Head Description
The portion of Hilton Head Plantation that overlooks the Port Royal Sound onto Parris Island is called Dolphin Head. Many couples mark their calendars: "full moon" so they can remember to take advantage of Dolphin Head's mile-long beach and go for a leisurely walk in romantic moon shadows. Hilton Head Plantation offers access to two miles of beach enjoyment, a community recreation center, a shared gardening area, numerous community swimming pools, tennis courts, Skull Creek Marina and the Old Fort Pub restaurant. Two nature conservancy’s offer beautiful, engaging nature trails and boardwalks through woods and marshland. Leisure paths wind throughout the plantation for walking, jogging and biking.
