Ingido
Run is the youngest and final private residential golf community
developed on the Island. This 1,700 acre Plantation is located
on the North End of the Island directly across Highway 278
from Hilton Head Plantation. It features the 18 hole semi-private
Nicklaus design "Golden Bear' golf course as well as
an 18 hole private Nicklaus "Father-Son" Signature
golf course - The Golf Club. The community itself has the
wonderful Sunningdale Park recreation center with a junior
Olympic swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball & volleyball
courts and a children's playground. Indigo Run contains
four private communities within its confines: the ultra-private,
600 acre Golf Club at Indigo Run; the 60 acre/50 home River
Club found along the deep waterfront of the Broad Creek;
the 64 estate home Broad Pointe also located along beautiful
Broad Creek; and The Garden Homes at Berwick Green. The
Golden Bear community is the main portion of the Plantation
and has homes surrounding the semi-private golf course.
With no villas and no resort accommodations, the pace in
the Plantation is unhurried.
