Long
Cove is a beautiful, peaceful golf & tennis community
located on the south end of the Island next to Wexford.
It is strictly a private, residential community with no
short term rentals allowed. The 660 acre Plantation includes
570 full-sized residential homesites, all of which have
a lagoon, golf course or Broad Creek view. Approximately
390 homes are completed and occupied, of which 70% have
permanent residents. Long Cove's golf course is rated #1
in South Carolina and in the Top 100 in the U.S. It was
designed by architect Pete Dye and the lagoons, magnificent
live oaks, magnolia and palmetto palm trees create a serene,
wooded environment in which this signature course is nestled.
The Club has a top notch tennis program, a great swimming
pool, excellent dining facilities and a shared farm for
gardening. Membership in the Club is included with the purchase
of your property. Long Cove also has, at no charge to residents,
its own 65 boat marina with deep water access to Broad Creek
for property owners to harbor their boats and kayaks.
